Primary mirrorThe primary mirror was made by renowned belgian mirror-maker Dany Cardoen, whose optics are used by many professional observatories worldwide. A recent test by John Nichol confirmed the high quality of our mirror (see ronchii test results at right) and the mirror was recently re-aluminised by Galvoptics of Basildon, Essex.
